for one...gut the motor and make the vehicle lighter (plus maybe carbon fiber hood and/or trunk), catch some slicker tires and lightweight rims, make the body more rigid next to some strut bars (front and rear) and some better suspension, disengage the shut in on the hand brake so u can pop it up sudden and let be in motion, your going to need to up the hp some more to (torque! headers, full catback exhaust, pulleys, cai, stage 1 clutch/lighweight flywheel are some cheaper things to start)...also manufacture sure to tune up the car and rework fluids regularly when doing all this and check for any problems (cv axles/boots, axle, etc especially b/c its tough on these parts!)
it is almost impossible to drift a front joystick drive car. but since u wan to. first u own to be able to drive really well-mannered because once u pull the e brake the sports car is going to fish tail or spin-out becuase it is front wheel drive. these cars are not intended for drifting so u have to swot how to regulate the gas and how hard u turn the helm. u said u wanted to kno wat mods u needed yes u stipulation power to drift but unless u learn how to drift adjectives u'll do wen u have the power is spin out so stir to a really empty parking lot do approaching 30 mph pull and start study how to control ur car wen ur sidewayz. as for power the best things to upgrade r the strut bar for suspension. front upper and lower strut and sway bars. backside upper and lower strut and sway bars. adjust the ebrake so u achieve fast response time from the brakes upgrade the full exhaust system 4 to 1 headers 3 inch downpipe eliminate the cat converter a race muffler and 3 inch piping to the muffler stainless steel is best because it doesnt corode or rust. next mod nouns intake filter and pipe. and from there it is up to u wat u wan to do. please practice contained by a parking lot first i don not want ur death on my conscience. devout luck. p.s. i forgot this part but don listen to wat everyone say i drift an 06 scion tc n wen i say "drift" i scrounging im going sidewayz for a good 50 foot. good luck!

You can drift anything with wheel. Don’t listen to anyone who says anything else. Now to be paid an FF drift better here are a couple of crazy but very significant methods.
Get the cheapest low grip tyres for the rear, and receive some cheap but average grip tyres for the front. Also try to make the backside suspension softer… but I would stay away from the suspension as much as possible. Once you get experienced next its better to tune your suspension. Also you don’t need anymore power… a 1.6L is excellent for FF drifting. Practice handbrake corners first, later once you get skilled you shouldn’t even obligation to use the handbrake.
Always practice on a track.
