"Permanent" Cookies on computers?

Question:
I am not an expert - as will no doubt emerge - but I take to mean there are two types of cookies. Temporary ones which I know how to obtain rid of and others [which might be called something bar permamanent] Can anyone remind me where to find those please? At one time I did and set up a shortcut but I enjoy lost it. Probably my age.

Answers:
this programme is good cleans everything
"Temporary" cookies are removed when your session times out (generally 20 minutes but is set by the trellis server of the web site). "Permanent" cookies are save and given an expiry date, and will last until any you delete them or they expire.

Cookies are generally stored lower than the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\[Your Username]\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

If you're using XP then it will also show you when they be last access and their expiry dates.
