A interrogate on MicroSoft Excel (formulas)?
Question: i have a spreadsheet base on hiring. is it possible that when someone wants to hire somethink that i can type surrounded by the number of days they want it for, and that number can get added to todays date so i own a cell which says the date of return.
Answers:
yes, glib
for example
c2 has todays date
c3 is where on earth you want to put number of days hire
c4 is where you want return date
c2 and c4 are formatted to date format
formula surrounded by c4 should be
=c2+c3
Use =today()+10 for example to have today's date plus 10 days.

The above should work if you are then printing of a rock-hard copy, (if it is live then every time you reopen the spreadsheet the return date will still be e.g. 10 days from that days date), and you could use the info in the number of hire days to divide the rental cost (before VAT) then put in on the vat (and deposit?) and you will have it adjectives on a small piece of paper.
