Question: i would like to know how to gain rid of it and I would also like to know could i install my own norton internet secuirty his computer and would it be trial to do so .note it is a different email address and different phone number

trojan ecodec is known as emcodec by symantec. Below is a relation of symantec's manual removal instruction. It applies anything antivirus program you are running. Use the names of the files created by the trojan and entries from registry to delete them as explained within it.
