yup you gotta go into your files and delete them in that. trying running a search for cookies, a few files should show up.

How to use it:
Once you enjoy installed it, tick all the boxes taht you see on the disappeared, then click on run cleaner! Simple.
Under tools, option, select delete cookies. I'm not sure that would speed up your computer though. Search on the web for guidance.
click start, control panel,then double click internet option, under the broad tab you should see a button to clear temp folders and a button to clear cookies. I hit both about once a month, but click the cookies button if explicitly all you are trying to clear.
