***All Mobile Phone Users***?
Question: Not a question - sorry - but a word of alarm. I recently received a missed ring from a number starting 07040. Assuming it to be another mobile, as it started 07, I rang it spinal column, as I have a home business and it could hold been a customer.
I be greeted with a record message telling me to hold for the subsequent available operator. After another 20 second or so, I was told near was nobody available and the nickname terminated.
Checking on the ICSTIS and OFCOM sites, the company issuing this number is currently under investigation for doing scam like this.
Not cost profoundly of money, granted, but don't return any such calls you procure.
Regards,
John Galvin.

Thanks - already know. Had one on New Year's Day, & loads last year. Most above-board mobiles start 077 or 079, & they don't hang up til I answer the phone. The 070 calls cost a fortune, so don't EVER telephone call them back.
thankfulness John for that.
taz - 078 is a genuine one too!
