A GIANT poking device....?
Question: Im your typical young masculine living on own & am need of a giant poking device.
Remote controls for tv, video, dvd, etc are fine but sometimes you obligation to turn things on & that involves getting up.
Does anywhere sell such a device & but for, why not!

Might I suggest that you buy a length of cane (the withered kind).
This is cheaper than a special device, and does the job only just as well.
You could also carry one of those little grabber things that usually have a sharks commander on the end or something so you don't own to reach out to pick up your drink/snack.

my "poking device " is either one of my liable kids or my husband dont know what you have, but the bearing it works is make yourself look really comfortable on the sittee and ask other to anyone in the room aww look im adjectives settled will you get me cup of tea ,turn heat on ,turn lights on ,pass me that item over ,close the door etc etc and it is free and never fail to not work.
so sorry noticed after answering you live on own oh economically thats just tough luck you enjoy to do it yourself until you get a nearest and dearest of your own ,mine are available for the odd daylight will work for food.(they will make themselves)
I approaching the idea,But you really cant measure getting up and giving it a good twiddle.
buy a broom feel you need some entity stout so when you use it ,it does not bend and break when you use it
in kid toy stores you can sometimes buy those sticks near mouths and stuff on the end so u can even pick stuff up next to it!
