360 hd dvd drive and 360 tv?
Question: hi am thinking of buying a 360 and hd dvd drive for it...but i have a couple of question first!
1)will the graphics for games be any good on my standard tv...
2)do i requirement a HD tv to use the hd dvd drive?

Graphics will be better than the Xbox or PS2, but you won't really be getting the full benefit of the 360. You'll also have problems beside some games, such as Dead Rising, where set book is too small to read on standard definition TVs.
The HD-DVD drive will work, but without a HDTV there's not really much point. Output will be downsampled to SDTV/EDTV resolutions, which are no better than standard DVD.
The graphics are gonna be awesome but i would still recommend buying an hdtv. especially since you are planning to buy and hd-dvd drive. within will be no point in buying the drive unless you enjoy and hdtv. but since the 360 does not go to full 1080p hd, i would recommend buying newly a 720p tv. this is the one i got. http://www.amazon.com/samsung-lns3292d-w...
you can find for a really restrained price for such a nice tv. i got it for more or less 900. its awesome. both hd and sd look awesome on this tv.
The graphics will be better then from the majority xbox on your standard tv. But to take it to the max :) you inevitability a hd Ready TV.
Buying an HD player for standard televisions is a waist of money.
