Question:
I do not like to drink. I do not have any consumption disorder such as bolimia or anorexia, but food is just not celebrated to me. When I do eat, my body act like a magnet and holds the food I do guzzle. I am 5-6" and weigh 170 pounds. What can I do to make myself more interested contained by eating and getting on a nutritious diet? I cannot loose weight beside the path I am on. I also am 53 and disabled, so exersize competence is limited. Any entry to help me bring back interested in consumption would help. I should be a toothpick, sometimes I budge 3 days without consumption.

My father (62) has a similar issue I think- he also go days without consumption. I have fairly a bit of knowledge so I can propose my take on it. You can also goole much of what I read out or look on health websites for more explanation if it help.

When you stop eating, although as you right to be heard your mind does not notice, you body does. It sounds approaching you have conditioned your mind to avoid or cut your bodies signals for hunger. This is possible if you have be in like pattern for a while.

When your body realises its requirements for food are not met (and I dislike intensely to be the one to tell you but your body will still own requirements for food dispite you not feeling them), your body go into whats called starvation mode.
Sarvation mode is your body working on reduced power. Its purpose is that there is no food, in attendance must be a famine and it conserves the power to keep itself alive for as long as possible- its trying to keep hold of you alive till you next devour. (out minds rationale on modern day technology and no famine in westernised civilisation far out date our bodies which work surrounded by simple terms and are still routed surrounded by prehistoric civilisation. It feels no regular food, it know famine.)

The outcome of the body working on a reduced power level is a reduced metabolism. This also mode food which you eat is food which you store, and most predictable around your middle. This is because its easier for you body to utilise, harder to get rid or, and costs your body smaller number energy to store at hand. It also keeps your fundamental organs warm. As your metabolism slows, you take colder, if your organs get too cold you can die. Your body desires to saty alive so it keeps your organs heat up by placing fat around them. It does this regardless of your solidity, it it simply following a pattern which by not intake regularly, you have promoted.

The best warning I can offer is to firstly draw from into a habit of ingestion regualer meals, ideally 6 SMALL (300 to 400 kcals) a hours of daylight, or 3 larger (600-750kcals) a day. Try to insure you enjoy a meal which consists of one third protien (either meat/fish/PLAIN /UNSALTED nuts/cheese), one third carbs (unrefined is healther for your body and glycemic index- try googling this for a better description/ advice) and one third vegetables or fruit. The more regularly you guzzle, and less cultivated sugars and carbs you eat, the more possible your metabolism will return to normal. It will clutch time.

Also, try taking up some excercise, whatever take yopur fancy, but with the opinion to raise your heart rate, and if at all possible, raise a sweat. It doesnt want to be gym stuff,- though you can get guidance and help from workers within, on ANY health difficulites and programmes, you can also turn swimming (to swim not to stand in sea though!) or ride a bicycle, take a dog for a run. try three days a week ,try to own a days break inbetween workouts. Atleast 40mins excercise is best but if you are just launch, just do what you can and build up to a proper workout. This will increase your metabolism phenominally and also increase or donate some hunger so you will be triggered to eat more frequently as argue against to once in afew days.

Its seriously to think almost, but if you can get some relieve from your doctor to maybe writeup a programme to follow, assume to yourself "I'll try it for a month and if I cannot stand it/feel worse/want to go rear legs to how I was before" you can do that, but what you are promising to notice is for the first week it'll touch like hell- not a soul likes redeploy and food is a personal issue for the best of people! but after this it will become outstandingly much easier, you will find you are functioning to a level you didnt feel possible and your body will have changed shape save size as well- and its very feasible you will actually soak up food insted of reveering it!!

It's inopportune that you do not enjoy ingestion but eating is a necessity within life to hold on to your body healthy and going. We drink to live. The reason you don't lose solidity is because some days you don't eat at adjectives and this starves your body. When this happens, the body will automatically hoard anything fats it can secure from the little food when you do eat. The body is preparing itself by conserving as much large as possible to be used as energy for the subsequent time you starve yourself. Hence, you put on more weight by practising ailing eating. Eat ably. Breakfast and lunch is important because you entail energy during the time. A cereal drink or soup would be sufficient for dinner. If you paucity appetite, try deworming yourself ( once a year ) and if your appetite remains the same, try something resembling Appeton which helps increase appetite. Add some multi vitamins to your day by day schedule. All the best.
What are your disabilities? If you can't put your foot then you should try to move your arms closely to exercise the upper body and make you sweat. If you can bearing then hoof it. When you increase the body's movement it will burn the food faster and you should lose some weight. You should also disobey a diabetic diet. This is where you swot to count sugar and carbs. It's pretty easy. Measure things by 1/2 cup, veggies, potatoes. Meat should be 3 oz per breakfast time. Fats should be a count of less than 5 and no more than 9. 9 is the perfect no no. Carbs per day should be 75 per dinnertime. 3 meals a light of day. Cheat on cool whip lite or store brand cool beat light. This stuff is tasty. And low in everything. Eat the intact tub in one sitting if you want. Just by watching this little bit you should straighten out. Take up an interest contained by learning the diabetic diet. I didn't say aloud do it. I said take an interest within trying to learn it. It get to be kind of approaching a game. And if you opt to try it then every other Sunday use 4 consecutive hours for a cheat treat. Eat doesn`t matter what you want in those 4 hours. But one and only once every 2 weeks. You'll see. Things wil change. Good luck.
hi, im within a wheelchair, so exercise isnt exactly possible.. i have to study what i eat... both mum and dad died from heart attacks...

the one and only control i get is over what i munch through, and like most folks i love to drink al lteh things which are bad for me. so, i dont guzzle fast food, i dont drink prepared food, and i rarely chomp through a takeaway (curry or chinese) but i do eat conceivably 3 or 4 a year...

i buy ingredients. and i cook. i do curry, chilli, pasta... i eat chips, etc etc... but i know whats surrounded by it, no sugar, and teh fat is olive grease or sunflower oil... no saline... its all merely vegetables prepared differently... get to know a flea market farmer, they supply fruit and veg wholesale.. sack of onions 2 quid, 5k of mushrooms 4 quid, courgettes and carrots, swede parsnips and cabbage... celery and aubergines... its incredible what you can cook out of that lot... we spend around 20 quid a week on veg... it feed 4 of us very economically...

and we make biscuits flour dampen and some honey and raisins... we also nibble on dry shredded wheat or mini weetabix... (avoid the sugar puffs.. they budge everywhere...as do rice crispies...

just be aware of what you chomp through, eat small portions regularly... not drinking isnt doing your body any good..

You right to be heard you are disabled...but you don't say exactly how you are disabled and/or whether you can hike at all. I'm sorry to hear that.

I hope you can fire up to get each day exercise; also get outdoors for some fresh nouns and sunshine. It often help to improve appetite.

If you can stroll,
start to exercise regularly by walking daily, even only just a short 5 minute or 10 minute walk twice a year morning and evening then increase as you are competent to 30 minutes at least 3 times a week.

Eating a impartial diet is necessary to maintain health.

I don't approaching junk food any. If because of your disability, you have a tricky time shopping for food, getting it home and then preparing the natural meals you requirement - I don't know that my suggestion will be the answer for you - but it could very capably be a start.
