I can only remember two caf¨¦ in Old Market, neither be called Dixon's. But that be after the war. Perhaps you could try to look at some Reece Winston books of weak Bristol , that might help. It would be interesting to know what your interest is?
Try Bristol museum or try to locate a local heritage focus. I don't know if old souk was bombed during the blitz if it be you are more likely to find info on what be there earlier.
