***** on grill..?
Question: I think our attractive westie puppy (7 months) is on heat. She is acting severely oddly, clingy to me and showing her bum to my hubby lol
She bark last hours of darkness (when we went to bed) for 2 hours, and just about one and a half the dark before.. she never generally barks much, she is doing the bizarre bits of barking and whining through the afternoon too, I don't think she is poorly, she is eating and weeing and pooing ok. I don't want to gain her spayed as I may want to breed from her in a year or so.
So my interview is. How long does the season last? Is it roughly 6 monthly intervals? Have you any tips on getting through this time? I've only ever have dogs before so am used to simply having to drag my dog away from this situation lol

dogs mostly don't come into heat till a year outmoded. Then it lasts around 2 weeks.( every 6 months) you can tell because the nouns will become very swollen and seepage blood the first week. She can only go and get pregnant when the blood turns a straw color but I suggest keeping her away from all dogs presently..she is way too immature for pups. Usually breed a dog at 2 years old... this is freshly a general answer..some come contained by heat more repeatedly. If she isn't having trouble next to bowel function or urinating, maybe she could own an infection. In any case..check near a reputable vet in your nouns. She should be getting puppy shots and rabies vaccine now anyway so check up can't hurt :)
Get your westie spayed. They are so much well again and make such better pets and you do not hold to worry more or less them going in to grill. There are to many dogs next to no homes Please do not add to this problem.
SHe wont be within heat unless she is bleeding contained by the rear.
And her vagil is swollen is another sign.

Dont breed her till she is atleast surrounded by her 3rd heat cyle.(two years old) Make sure when she is within heat when you give somebody a lift he out side you are watching her, and make she she dosnt achieve away!
They sale doggie panties that you can put a sanitary wipe in to maintain her from bleeding on the floor. Check your local pet store. 6 month intervals. It last anywhere from a week to four weeks. Although over three is unusual although my ***** have her heat cycle for four weeks and have false pregnancies so we had to capture her spayed. If it lasts longer than 2 1/2 weeks I would speak to your vet, lately in suitcase.
When my dog went into grill she was clingy, and bark a lot. My friend & her sister tried to pet Lady, and she bit them. Which is unsual for my dog because she is usually quality to children, and most adults.
Your dog is probably in roast, but it depends on the age. The puppy has to be at lowest possible six months old.

OMG fix the dog. If you are planning to breed and you do not know the answer to this question later you should not be breeding. Maybe do some research before you **** over yours, your dogs, and the puppies duration. $5000 is alot of money for a C-Section.
I have nil to add, only think it's funny that the occupancy for female dog keep getting *****'d out. :)
6-8 MILLION dogs enter shelter doors every year. 25-30% of them are adopted, and the other 70-75% are EUTHANIZED.
Every time your unspayed womanly has a litter, you are literally KILLING that number of dogs surrounded by shelters. You are taking away much needed homes from them.
Please own her spayed as soon as possible. Not only will you not hold to suffer with the annoyance of boil, but she will be much comfier without the awareness she's experiencing, and she will be unable to contribute to the overwhelming pet overpopulation of this world.

it finishing around 3 weeks then she wont come on grill for another six months but it could be a few weeks before that when your ***** is within season the first week she will be a bit strange but what ever you do for 3 weeks don't let her out on her own the worse time is the secound or near about week of her season to be exact when she will stand for a dog to mate her but you need to maintain a close eye on her the whole 3 weeks if you are not sure when she come on heat first so the best piece to do if you take her out for a amble is to pick her up and carry her away from the house and later when you come back next to her pick her up so a good few foot from your house so that other dogs cant smell her scent around your home but do not let her of the head what ever you do i don't take my ***** out when she is contained by season but i have six foot walls around my home and a big six foot gate so no dogs can return with in my garden don't even agree to your dog out in the garden on her own as a dog will rear the wall if the smell a ***** on heat and if you prefer to breed your ***** wait until she is surrounded by her third season then draw from her mated not until that time then she is to young-looking they say she should be at lowest possible around about two year ancient you need to mark off your calendar and count down when she is due on heat subsequent that way you will enjoy a good perception when her next season is due around six months dont verbs to much just dont agree to your dog out of your site for one secound in the garden on her own for 3 maintain her away from all dogs for at most minuscule 3 weeks that is the best answer
