12 week older rabbit trying to mate?

Question:
My 12 week old dwarf lop buck is trying to capture his groove on with my 9 month frail netherland dwarf doe.
He's chasing her around and then when he's get her cornered he'll try and shag her face.
Whilst he's chasing her something like, he randomly lift his "tail" and shoots out an orange/brown ish liquid. I first thought this be pee, but I am now disbelieving, as he only does this when he is around my doe.
Any one get any ideas on what it might be?

Thanks,

Hydroxy

Answers:
Yes, your 12 week weak male is trying to mate near your female. Randy babyish bucks will try to mate with anything. He's full of raging hormones and desires to get his groove on. It doesn't event that your doe is spayed. If you didn't have a womanly rabbit around, your male might be trying to mate beside your leg or anything else he can get up on.

And it's not unusual for rabbits to try to mount each other's head. You shouldn't allow your male to do this though, because females who obtain annoyed by this can sometimes bite the male's penis, which obviously, not a soul wants to see arise.

The reddish-brown juice you are seeing is, indeed, urine. Rabbits' urine is often healthy-looking brown, especially if their diets are high within Vitamin A (such as if they eat deeply of carrots). And it's a perfectly ordinary mating behavior for the manly rabbit to chase the object of his affection around, heave his tail, and squirt. Charming, no? If you're really lucky, he might even do it to you! lol

The kindest thing to do is to own your male neuter as soon as possible. At 12 weeks, he's a bit young for the surgery. Typically, you want to continue until 16 weeks or so. In the meantime, keep him away from the feminine. Even though your female is spayed, it will purely make your womanly angry if she doesn't like the attention. And if the feminine runs away from the male, it will basically make him more frustrated. You can buy one of those rubber playground ball from the drug store and give that to your masculine bunny to mount until he can be neutered.

One final details, when you do get your masculine neutered (and I hope that you will!), it will run about 3 weeks or so for the hormones to completely dissapate from the system, so you may not see an on the spot cessation of these behaviors right after surgery.
their in love leeve them
omg sounds approaching he is ejaculatin
if u dnt want female to get hold of pregnant get them both dun asap
You necessitate to separate the asap if you don't your going to have a house full of rabbits.
Pay attn fellas. The doe is spayed. You;re out of danger there. But the little masculine is just getting elder. At this point it's not even sexual for him. His body just feel a need. If he have an outlet for extra energy he could verbs.
It's possible that your male bunny is of late trying to show dominance--like he wants to be the boss rabbit around your place. I surmise that the orange/brownish liquid you describe is pee, and he is truly marking his nouns. I guess he sees your girl bunny as "his domain."

I know my boy rabbit used to act approaching your buck did, but all that problems stopped after we neuter him. Are you planning to neuter your dwarf lop buck when it's possible? I ponder it will cut down on the mounting and spraying of urine.
Better stop playing those Barry White love songs!
