a newt is an amphibian resembling a frog or toad, so not a fish as for a fish that becomes a lizard when removed from hose there is no such creature at lowest on this planet, although you may be thinking of a mud skipper which is a fish that uses its pectorial fins to move across the mud, it lives in mangroves and tidal estuaries but this is a fish and not a reptile. hope that help.
A myth. Two different Taxonomic Families. Some Lungfish can survive a long time buried in dry water bottom mud,but when it rains they're still fish. Clarias Catfish can amble from one body of water to another on dewy(?) night, but they're still fish.PeeTee
