4 weeks preggers, can i worm her in a minute next to panicaure or drontal worming tablets, or will this affect her pup?

Question:
She is a staffordshire bull terrier, and i really need to carry this sorted. Any responses are gravely appreciated

Answers:
No. You should NOT worm her at this time. You will be worming the mom AND pups with Strongid at 2,3,4,6 and 8 weeks, and also taking a fecal taste from the puppies when they go for their vaccine look in.

Next time, worm the bit ch BEFORE she is pregnant...for healthier mom AND puppies.

Why worm very soon and expose all to more chemicals than compulsory? You will STILL have to worm puppies, because the incapsulated larve contained by the mothers muscle tissue can still release roundworms during nursing and be transmitted to the puppies. So you still have to worm them. Why worm the mom immediately. Even with worming BEFORE pregnancy, the incapsulated larve will not be gotten. Seems approaching a wate of money and something that the mom does not need during pregnancy.
NOT SURE BUT I SUPPOSE IT DEPENDS ON HOW YOUR DAUGHTER ACTUALLY FELLS AT THE MOMENT!
You should really check near your Vet - I wouldn't take an answer from YA and run beside it, you could risk loosing the litter of puppies.
You shouldn't give the dog any worm meds in need checking with the vet first!
earlier you do anything check with your vet
Anything that go into her, goes contained by to the pup. I wouldn't advise giving her deworming tablets, until you chedk near your vet first. You can give them a give the name, explain the situation, and they would be able to bring up to date you when it 's safe to deworm her. Good Luck near the puppies and congrats.
hi, i had a litter of chihuahua pups within june last year and i asked my vet impossible to tell apart question, i be told it was a devout idea to worm her (i used milbermax from my vet.) So go a skipper, it is safer to prevent worms. You will have to use panicur for the pups at week 2. Good luck.
I dont suggest you should have permit her get pregnant as you dont give the impression of being to know what you are doing.
No dog should be wormed during pregnancy as medication would affect the Puppies. Breed doesn't make a difference except surrounded by the number of puppies! Some breeds can have severely large litters!
she should be 40 days pregnant after you should worm her everyday untill 3 days after the pups are born ask your vet to give you more info but thats what i done for my pregnant dog

near my first litter of pups i didnt worm the mother when she was pregnant and the pups come out tiny they were german shepherds and they could fit surrounded by my hand at three weeks outmoded they were also ridden beside worms

with my second litter of pups i wormed the mother at 40 days pregnant and every year untill 3 days after the pups were born as advise by my vets and the make over in the litter be amazing they were like mad healther bigger and stronger than the last litter and didnt hold any worms at all they be also german shepherds
can i advise you to travel to pets at home and buy a book called "The book of the Bitc h" it have been fundamentally usefull for me and it also tells you how when you should worm her apt luck .And please dont listen to these people that report you not to worm her

40 days is 6 weeks
She should have be wormed (if needed) BEFORE she was bred! Why would you conjecture it is ok to put poisons in her body when she is pregnant?

Have a fecal done on the pups BEFORE you worm them, to see if they even NEED it!
i agree near sara as i also breed dogs and worm my pregnant dogs at 40 days and then every light of day untill 3 days after the pups are born these people who say aloud dont worm them dont know what there conversation about parley to your vets they will impart you information
you need
no i wouldnt advocate as we gave are ***** worming tablets pay for mi may 06 not realising she was pregnant and it resulted contained by her having a misscarage
you can use panacur but the best entity to be advising you is the vet. And yippeee, near rescue kennels all over the UK full of unwanted staffies, we really do stipulation more don't we?
dont worm her now you involve to get a worming cream from your vet and grant it to the ***** a week before she is due to enjoy the pups and then it will worm both mother and pups obtain it from the vet and they will give you the rite one that wont hurt the pups i other worm my bitches a week before due a litter and that course the pups are health and no worms reg breeder
You should lurk till the puppies are born.
