8 week mature kitten...?
Question: my kitten today had a bowel movment which be a bit on the loose side! this is the forst timei have have a cat that is not short haired andit get a bit messy as to say around he backside. Can any one make available me advise on the best method to clean him at such a childlike age as i feel that the loo roll may not dispense the desired effect!

8 weeks is totally young indeed ;
if he have diarrhoea

Cleaning up little messy bottoms;
If you do the clean up , on your knees ,
put a towel across your lap first ,

put warm river + a little kid shampoo,
in a bowl
i use Jey-Cloths, dipped contained by the water, as wipe
they are soft ,
and can be used, as drying towels as well ,
when kitty is verbs
you can throw them all away, after one use
use a plastic purse, tie and dispose ,
have everything to appendage .
( the kitten will feel more in safe hands,
if you can hold him there and work,
short having to take up, mid way )
other make sure the litter tray,
is cleaned as habitually as your kitten uses it

I have a long haired cat too. I infer you can buy pet wipes (just similar to baby wipes) at PetSmart or Petco. Or you could only try a warm washcloth. Good luck!

You should run hose down on he/she from the sink. WARNING: do not get it's frontage wet. at this rash of an age you should not get their face wet because they can achieve very sick and even die.
drizzly cotton wool it will feel resembling mothers tounge
Use just a soft cloth and thaw water for immediately. We keep little one wipes on paw for this purpose.
We also have kittens 3 in-total, which are adjectives now 8 months, we own had them since they be 6 weeks old.
Best point to use is warm drizzly cotton wool, this would feel similar to it's mothers tounge. Also you can buy pet wipes, only just the same as babe-in-arms wipes..

my kitten be having this problem for a while. he be also then stepping within the mess. we got cat wipe from petco, and we also got some spray-on foam cat shampoo (it doesnt bother them as much as getting a bath). when his stool be very loose, we have his butt shaved close for a little while.
My mom have a long-haired white cat, and sometimes he gets himself messy even though he is full grown. Sometimes, they'll verbs it up themselves, sometimes not. If you notice it urgently, warm sea and a soft clothe should do it. However, if it dries there, you can also use clippers to a moment ago trip the hair. Not singular will that get rid of the "yuck", if the mane around that area is shorter, it help to keep that from arranged. Just be careful. It's best to enjoy someone else hold the cat while you do it so that the cat's movement doesn't make you unsteady.

I have the same prob beside my kitten and she has a obsession of getting it all over her paw when she covering her mess. I keep her tray verbs continually during the day but she still manage to make a smelly mess. I have to give her a sink purify the other week though as she smelt all over. Damp clothe best for the backside but they dont similar to it at all, my cat go mad when you try to verbs her bum.
