You really do need to capture this sorted out. Your dog will be determining it's position and rank inside your family and you requirement to make sure it know it should be right at the bottom. Don't be cruel, but be firm. If you tell your dog to do something and it behave stupidly but refuses to do what you've told it, that's pliable dominance and needs to be nip in the bud. Show your dog who's boss, but firmly short cruelty. Treats are good for breakneck responses!
tell him moderately and then spray his put a bet on with marine
huh..... that made no sense to someone who uses ENGLISH!!
Desi ;)
Castration...
I'm afraid German Shepherds all jump through this stage, your pup is testing you he/she wishes to dominate, you must not let it, my 8 month older is going through this at the moment, she is a b1tch in every sense of the word! You only have to stand your ground, do plenty of training next to lots of play in between, you must save your dog occupied, throw a Frisbee, see a ball around for it, conceal objects for it to find, give it plenty of mental as capably as physical stimulation, but don't forget, not too much leaping and jump around (the dog not you) as their bones are still growing and you can do all kind of damage if you are not well thought-out.
I WISH YOU LUCK!!
If castration isn't the answer for you, and it doesn't always work for some dogs, try looking for local dog surrender classes. They really enjoy it, you will form more of a bond beside your dog and he will respect you more. I used to have a highly boisterous Alaskan Malamute and after training I was the lone one who could take him for a bearing. The training is not only for your dog it is to train the owner as very well and this is the part that most dog/owner relationships fall over down on.
Plenty of exercise so you tire him out and take him to Dog Training classes. You don't voice if he spends a lot of time on his own during the year because if he does he could be bored. They are an intelligent dog and need plenty of stimulation.
NEWSFLASH!! 6 months elderly large dogs ARE boisterous. German shepherds requirement plenty of excersize, training and mental stimulation. How come, when you did all the research up to that time getting your dog, you missed the bits which mentioned that they are a large influential breed?
plenty of exercise and castration
It's natural for him to be boistourous he's still a pup,my 11month infirm lab x is mental he hasn't quietened down all the same.Alsations or german sheperds are naturally incredibly active and obligation alot of mental and phsical stimulation otherwise they can become destructive. How many walk is your dog having?at 6months he should be have 2/3 30min walks a afternoon including some free running, this would help him silence down as he will be tired. You can also keep him entertain around the house by giving him mind solving games to play like kong toys or buster cubes that you give with luscious food and they have to work to get hold of the food out.He could remain boistrous for another good few months up untill at smallest 2yrs old,but by trying the 2 things i mentioned it would unquestionably help him silent down.Good luck.
German Shepherds are bright, energetic intelligent dogs. They are probably one of the best adjectives round working dogs and are used extensively throughout the world for a variety of purposes from Attack dogs to Guide dogs.

They thrive on training and any sort of amusement which engages their brain.

Like an intelligent, glowing child of (say 10 or 11 years) a six month old Shepherd will be boisterous - if it be lethargic at hand would be something wrong.

At six months old a puppy should not be over-exercised but near our superior intellect we should be able to come up near games and play which give the dog something to contemplate about and at indistinguishable time teaches it the key control exercises that it also needs.

Boisterous routine does not mean that the dog is trying to dominate - dogs look for a pack viewpoint - they don't want to take over the world.

Take your dog to a training class; cram how to teach him central commands; inculcate search, retrieve; tracking. Teach him what practice you require instead of concentrating on all the behaviours you don't want.

Teach him to sit, to stay, to bearing nicely on a front, to drop on command, to come back when he is told.

If you do adjectives this and keep it adjectives fun so that he thinks training is play you will winding up up with a at ease, obedient dog who will hold the 'edge' taken off his boisterous manner by channelling his dash into learning and controlled games.

As someone who have had the fun of training my own nimble pups and seeing them mature into adults and afterwards slow down as age overtakes them, all I can really articulate is enjoy your pup while he is young-looking - they are with us for such a jiffy.
