4 month weak corn snake shedding?
Question: i fed him final tuesday, on thursday his colour dulled and he looked dry didnt feed him saturday as his eyes have turned milky they have cleared very soon is he taking too long to shed or is this normal

At this age it is middle-of-the-road,you can help by fine spray misting him,any give a hand then be in motion to the cornsnke forum where they are brilliant for adjectives advice. If you feed him tuesday,you don't need to nurture him so soon again,avoid contact when they shed,their eyesight isn't as good and they can be irritable.

It can embezzle some time for them to shed - showing the signs earlier than you'd contemplate. Mine did the same. Milky eyes sometimes is a sign of poor strength. I assume you feed him twice a week? (Which is plenty sufficient - any more than that and you are over feed him. He may be due for shedding or just not own digested the foodstuff you gave him powerfully enough. I would however muse - based on what you enjoy said that he will shed within the subsequent week or so.

try spraying him near a spray bottle you only involve to feed him give or take a few once a week or he will get not at your best. if his eyes have cleared afterwards he will shed in the subsequent day or to.
We enjoy 2 corn snakes. They do the same entry. The colour dulls and then go back to middle-of-the-road and then a few days subsequently they shed. He'll prob shed about Wednesday I'd right to be heard.
It is usual for a Jung corn snake to take its time shedding. After the eyes enjoy lost the cloudiness its usualy between 1-4 days until it sheds. To accelerate shedding any spray the Viv with thaw out water or soak the snake within warm sea about 2cm thoughtful for about 10 min ( Try not to agree to the head step under sea as it may damage snakes eyes if the hose is not 100% bit free. )
