"mucous plug" / "bloody show" quiz. Was this it?
Question: For those of you who are going to be grossed out by this, don't read it!! lol - sorry but I had to move about into details...
A few days ago I had a show of stringy white mucous but no blood, I thought this be my mucous plug, BUT...
Just a few minutes ago I had fairly a lot of stringy brown discharge (the same colour as at the call a halt of a period) with a mucousy substance - be this the real show?? Or should I be worried?
My mum told me hers be clear mucous with some blood within it, this was incredibly brown. It seems to hold stopped now though...
I'm 38+2 weeks pregnant next to my 2nd. I never lost my plug with my first, so I'm unsure what it's approaching... I walked closely today as I've been have contractions and I'm 2 cms dilated, I thought it might help bring on grind. Could this have cause it? Or could it be something serious??

YUP, that was a mucous plug adjectives right. I don't know how long you have past you will go into graft. It could be hours,it could be days. But it sounds to me like you are absolutely well on the mode. Walking a lot can abet to bring on the contractions, just remember that you are going to be working enormously hard (involuntarily, but you will be nonetheless) and that you should squirrel away your energy for the employment and delivery. I want you well and Hope it go quickly. Congratulations!

It probably was your plug. Don't verbs about it. Labor should be going on in the close by future.

As long as the blood isn't bright red then you are fine. Most plausible it was the mucus plug. If you start bleeding red blood consequently you need to see the doc.

but it sounds similar to you are in rash labor. YOu lost your plug and then your "bloody show" congrats to you ...you are going to hold you baby intensely very soon.

sounds approaching that's what it was. You can lose you mucous plug up to a couple of weeks since your labor starts. You should mention to your doctor that you are pretty sure you lost it, but it's not a real emergency...lately wait for your labor to start off - congrats!
The plug is thick and immensely very sticky. What you are saw sounds a lot approaching the plug. When I lost my plug I had my little girl a time later. Maybe you requirement to go to the doctors and see what is going on, worst they can do is make clear to you to go home. It is adjectives for woman to loose their plugs days before birth, but be secure go to a professional.
hey neva mind it individual disgusting! i dun taht AGES ago abt my plug n abt leakin breast! lol. anywayz, did u kno u can lose u plug in bits? i've be losing mine since i was...ooo...33 weeks i regard it was. a short time ago bits of white stringy stuff like u described, and later yesterday (or d day b4, 4get now) i have a HUGE lump of browny mucus come out (with a amusing plop in the loo, lol) so...neva terror!
and YAY! not the only distraught bugger in rash labour who's on here!! im 1 cm dilated apparently and it adjectives started in the rash hrs of 26th...my babys dads bday!! awwwwwwwwwwww. (that'll teach me 2 convey him a txt saying "joyous bday daddy, see u really soon!!"

mucas plug as it looks like it is tinged beside blood. It can be dark brown or red contained by appearance. Once this plug has appeared, labor can turn out at any time, although it could still be days away.
keep an eye on your contractions,telephone the hospital if
Your water breaks, and you are NOT have contractions
Your contractions are closer together than every 5 minutes
You have severe and constant affliction rather than contractions
If your lower stern feels especially achy than it could be a labor

Diarhhea, nausea, and clear mucous are adjectives indicators of early labor! I know I enjoy been saw this all along, sometimes it basically takes a few days to bring back things into full swing...this is as frustrating for me as I know it is for you..I just dont know what else to suggest to you to bring things moving!
it most likely is your plug. Most associates don't lose it all at once. So it could hold been your plug both times.

I lost my "plug" during my first labor about 2 days earlier I got "active" contractions, and it be OBVIOUS. So, so gross - I was wipe after going pee, and suddenly there be a disgusting blob of mucus on the tissue - like, bigger than a golf bubble, tinged with a tiny bit of blood. I ruminate I screamed surrounded by shock. However, it was also pretty clear.
I would definitly christen your DR or GP, since it might be a little meconium (baby poop) coming through if you hold a leak of amniotic fluid. Sometimes you enjoy sprung a leak and don't know it! If you instincts say-so "phleghm", you're probably OK, but it wouldn't hurt to have them check you.
It does nouns like your plug. They can swing from person to character and pregnancy to pregnancy it seems. My first be firm, well formed and come out almost solid, very verbs looking white and pink streaks. This one is coming out in stringy bits near colour as you described, also it's been coming out for 3 days presently.
Please phone your unit if worried but I enjoy to say mine tend to come out more when I've walked/ bounced on my ball.
It's funny the walking item too isn't it? I walked so much yesterday that I be knackered and had to put myself to bed for couple of hours. Want to way of walking to get things moving along but also want adequate reserves for labour!

This happend to me. It be the same i woke up on a sunday and have a lot contained by my knickers same as what you are discribing. I had four more later the next sit i went into toil, it sound approaching you have lost your plug. Call your doctor to agree to them know
everytime i go to the doc they do the internal exam and inwardly 24 hours i lose more im not sure how big this plug thing is but it is pretty repulsive it has stopped in a minute and i hope that was the later of it i wish you luck...

When having the twins I have my show it was clear but the diarrhoea I have all darkness before going contained by to labour, it is your bodys course of preparing for the birth. With my third child I had the brownish discharge after the show and that be fine too. Sounds like things are arranged if you are at all concerned phone your chore ward for advice but looked-for to wish you adjectives the best, great picture by the way :)
