“Why do things float around surrounded by space’?
Question:
Answers:
Because there is essentially no gravitational grazing land to pull things "down"; indeed, in that is no down or up in nothing G.
There is no gravity pull.
y do you suppose ... come on ???
htere is verry little affect of gravity so therefor nothing to bring them ''back down ''
peace out :)
no gravity, as they hard by a large mass gravity kick in and they become meteors
There is no gravity
No gravity!! Dah
Depends on what is floating. Most stuff within space is in a orbit.
powerfully they do not float
if ur talking in the region of asteroids and all that t,hen all right if u think i.e. floatting
the earth is floating too!
if u expected people within a spaceshipo
then because near is no gravity
simple , there is no gravity.other harmonious bodies also exert their gravitational field but it is not strong plenty to attract an object at such a roomy distance ,so stuff floats.
theres no gravity
Floating implies boyancy, man held up by something else.
There is gravity attracting all the "things" within space (including the planet earth) to each other, but not other enough to impose them to collide (yet.)
How did they get to be separated contained by the first place, is another question.
in attendance is no gravity of corse
Because there is nought to produce sufficient gravity. Space is a vacuume, I think this is something to do beside the ammount of gravidy.
because there is no gravity contained by space i.e G=0 and hence its vacuum totally
there is gravity but not strong adequate to stick them together
Well, no gravity, duh.
Light things like humans and spaceships will "float", but they will not be surrounded by orbit like the planets.
The rationale that planets are in orbit, is because their mass is so huge. The planets are attracted to eachother, just close to humans and spaceships, but the planets are big enough to hold an orbit. The smaller things (like humans and spaceships) are not big enough.
"Space" itself is so unimaginably voluminous that most objects are so far apart as to not effect a gravitational pull on eachother.
Things do not contained by fact "float" surrounded by space, most planets revolve around a star or "sun".
If they are out in insightful space then in that is no pull on them and they float infinetly aimlessly around.
A lot of things float but profoundly of things are caught in gravity field.
because there is no gravity contained by space
hmmm i wonder.
same reason why space shuttles and sattelites float around surrounded by space
