How can i Identify the undulation and intercept of the following procession: 2y - 4x + 3 = 0?

Question:

Answers:
if you shuffle things around to give you an equation of the form

y = mx + c,

m will be the angle and c the y intercept, so

2y - 4x + 3 =0

2y = 4x - 3

y = 2x - 3/2

The gradient is 2 and the intercept is -3/2
Thats unforced, i would tell you but afterwards you'll never learn.

I'll afford you a clue tho, the answer is in the 4x??
Gradient = -4 as contained by the coefficient of x
Intercept of y is when x=0 and intercept of x is when y=o
2y - 4x + 3 = 0
2y = 4x - 3
y = 2x - (3/2) ---> y = mx + c

The gradient is 2 and y-intercept is -(3/2) or -1.5.
First of adjectives re-arrange the equation

2y - 4x + 3 = 0
2y = 4x - 3
y = 4/2x - 3/2
y = 2x - 1.5
In this form ; the 'straight line' form, the gradient is the coefficient of x which is '2'
The intercept is the 'stand alone' number, which is '-1.5'. The intercept is the point on the 'y' axis be the straight line crosses, or more correctly intercepts.
