"JOKERSWILD" is stumped for an "ANSWER"?
Question: How come that "SMOKING" is supposed to be harmfull to humans, but cures FISH and MEAT. Does this make sense. Your comments please.

Well, play on words aside - it's worth remembering that the meat and fish being "cured" are already limp.

well...it;s not equal kind of smoke...here is no nicotine in the smoke they use to cure fish and meat, hence it's not harmful.
