I suspect the point behind this press is that for all intents and purposes you can high regard the divisor as 99,000,000,000
which is 9.9 times 10 raised to the power 10.
So the overall sum is 10 raise to the power 3 times 4.9 divided by 9.9 times.
Which is about 495
