The singular clue I can offer is that on the VERY in danger of extinction occasions when they own disclosed the answer AND how they reached it, you win some REALLY odd ways of working things out.
For example:-

*might break down to equal*
200 + 12 ( 2+0+0+1+2 = 5)
80 + 8 (8+0+8) = 16
2 * 2 (4)
So using the appalingly unpromising way of working out one of their similar puzzles, the "answer" to this could be 5164 - or if added 5+1+6+4 = 16

Logicaly the answer is easy but that would cost them. I say 304 if it's not a trick cross-question (which I believe it is because it is half numbers and partly letters). The end of the query is missing from the main peak, which is why I think in that is so many 302s.
