1 or 4 belts per cargo surrounded by boxing?
Question: What opinions do inhabitants have on this, should in attendance be one world champion(per weight) or is the current format the best?
Answers:
Quite simply there should be just one title. How is it possible to have a true world champ when nearby are three other fighters holding other belts all claiming to be the best?
Ali, Marciano, LaMotta, Louis, Robinson are adjectives remembered as being true world champ and held only one belt. It won't be possible for todays fighters to be recognised surrounded by the same league as them because of the amount of titles available now. They can fight, catch beat for one title (if they hold more than one) and still give up the ring as a title holder.
Maybe a league system with one belt for the beater might do the trick? That way respectively 'champ' might get to scrap the real contendors and not cannon fodder that their promoter/tv company put contained by front of them to keep their warrior winning.
next to 4 "main" world title belts (and several nondescript ones) out there, it make it easier to get a title shot. however it also finances that several fighters get unjustified shots at the title, and titleholders rearly meat in unifacation match. there is seriously of politics in the come to blows game, two world class fighters cant unite because they have contracts next to rival tv networks, or they price themselves out of the match are two examples, also some of the better fighters could catch overlooked in benefit of the hyped up ones. we just hold to grin and bear it. at hand are pros and cons, but far more cons than pros to having adjectives these so called world champion floating about.how copious current champions could you label off by heart lacking going on to the ring magazine website?
There Should be one belt per weight, the format today is lately bogus.
You can get a title shot at the moment with with the sole purpose a dozen fights to your nickname.
It is too money driven and not about talent anymore

1, the single belt i regocnise is the ring belt.
There are far too many bets around. This devalues the legitimate stars, when 4 or 5 organisations claim they have a victor. By having one belt, it resources that the guy is the best. Plus too many belts system, mandatory challengers of low class. The guy Joe Calzaghe battered the other hours of daylight. He was so outclassed, it be a joke and he could hold got hurt. The British heavyweight scene is full of second rate butter butts who only capture a title shot, because they are fighting another 2nd rate butter butt. Plus there are too heaps weights. Straw weight etc. Boxing weights should be done every 14IB or one Stone. Saying that most Heavyweights are surrounded by a weight of their own, pile of dump consignment.
1 is better than 4 bcus that's the only belt i no!!!!!!!!!
Well I have a sneaking suspicion that that having 4 trunk belts has made it thorny to have a undisputed victor and not many boxers gain that chance because it's so frozen to make the unification fight most of the time, they all hold a different top ten contenders list, I don't approaching all the stupid current titles like the IBO, WBU, WBF, IBA, and anymore of those ones because they don't really cause you a world champion. The top belt is the WBC and consequently WBA and the IBF and then the WBO which I chew over is very underated, don't know why? I believe that we need to hold all 4 of those belts but we don't necessitate any of the others, they also need to produce it easier to have unification fight and more often as economically.
It should be one just similar to the football (soccer) world champions. But the sport of boxing is run by greedy promotors. Anyone get a shot at a title these days.
The four core belt sactions is cool. The others need to shift. Just WBC, WBA, IBF, and WBO. It makes more better for unification fight. You can not get that no more beside the background crap going on.
1, for adjectives the reasons previously down, in other responses.
Definitley basically 1 per weight this process the champion of the world would be the existing champion and it would denote more, plus the fights might be a better standard for titles. ie. the later calzaghe fight for that money for a ticket and for it to be stopped within the 3rd round come on it was a title fray and there be no need to stop it that precipitate (well thats my opiniton) if there be only 1 belt and it be harder to get a title struggle then the standard would be better and the fight would be better.
well i consider that a lot of "sports" fan, that's not boxing fans who are more informed, are utterly confused by it adjectives. there are too plentiful organisations, i think 2 or 3 would be just the thing - that would create an opportunity for a unification but would still allow competition in respectively organisation
It's a ridiculous situation to have 4 world champion. It devalues the noble art of boxing and it encourage the different champions to avoid warfare each other. They should adjectives be forced to fight respectively other to decide who is the undisputed victor.
i think that if a boxer holds more than one title they would own to defend both/all of them. this approach all the titles slowly become interconnected and winning a title become more prestigious. there are too copious titles for winning basically one to have any aim. on top of that at hand are so many boxers jump weight class these days that you could end up scuffle a champ for the title who is overweight or unfit
Less Weights to start with, 4 belts per cargo is ok with me but for god sake, lets break the counterbalance divisions themselves up into 10-14lb increments, instead of 4-5lb increments, in conclusion.... boxing is in a hurry turning very commercial and political, borderline puss ***. Less substance divisions and if you are going to have 4 belts next dont make it subsequent to impossible to obtain adjectives 4 through politics!
The current format is diluted. having 4 "champions" resources having no TRUE champion. It does build for big money fights to consolidate the division. I surmise this may be the real principle for the alphabet belts.
