Aer Lingus gear allowance??
Question: Hi
I am going on an aer lingus flight in april and I am wanting to foot the baggage payment now but the website is not v clear. I am wanting to pilfer one small suitcase and a handbag (hand luggage), so will have own to pay for 2 heaps or just one ie do you reimburse the baggage levy for handluggage?!
Answers:
As far as I am aware you only wages for the luggage you check into the hold. So your hand luggage is free.
You salary EUR for each piece of checked within luggage each flight if booked online. It is EUR8 per bag/per flight if done at airport. You can bring up to 5kgs on board as appendage luggage with you for no duty. They then charge a nutty fee of something close to EUR8 per kg overweight per flight. Hope that is clearer.
