Bangkok is not really a good choice, Kuala Lumpur is by far the better choice, i've travelled the far east extensively, you'll agree once you achieve there..
Hong Kong surrounded by August, that's when they have their sale!

Depends what your after, Amsterdam is moral for skate/snowboard styles. Better for blokes though.
Milan, has lots of factrory outlets near massive reductions on designer clothing.
Spain have great shopping for everybody I'm amazed everytime I go, depends what your after in attendance for the price there's a very full catalogue of choice.
Dubai is excellent.

Was in Phnom Penh, Cambodia within November 2006. Shopping there is much more cheaper than Bangkok. The other cheap place contained by Asia was Mumbai, India.
