Question:
my boyfriend and i are looking to go away for a week to 10 days at the train of april.

we want a relaxing and romantic holiday, in a 4 / 5 star hotel at a hot sand location (preferably full board or all inclusive). if anyone can recomend some nice hotels and areas I would appreciate it

Answers:
Hyatt Regency contained by Poipu, Kauai is a wonderful hotel. Their pool is a river that runs down to the beach. At hours of darkness there is a saline water, raw pool that is right on the shoreline lit only by tiki torches. It feel like swimming surrounded by the ocean at dark. There are private tents on the beach near wonderful meals served by your private butler and waiter (very romantic). Kauai have many disguised beaches that you can spend hours relaxing and exploring. For tropical, you can tempo Kauai!
vilamoura in portugal is superb and many of the hotels near are at least four star, own a look on the web or ask a travel agent
The best holiday i've ever have was within Paphos, Cyprus. We stayed in a 4 Star hotel call the 'Avanti' and it was positively brilliant. June/July/August/ are the hottest months for Cyprus but you should still get some really nice weather at the cessation of April.
We went to Puerta Plata surrounded by the Dominican Republic for our honeymoon, it was so wonderful we go back a couple of years subsequent. The Riu Hotel chain hold three hotels quite close together near the most wonderful beaches etc, we be at the Riu Merengue. All inclusive and in April it will be relatively cheap. Have a look at Riu hotels website.
If you want real luxury and don't mind the travelling stir to the Rayavadee in Krabi, Thailand. There are two beach to choose from. Although they are both public, the hotel has private environment at the edge and loads and loads of sunbeds. Which own lovely cushions on and the pool boys fit towels over them for you. The accomodation is two storey bungalows, you can upgrade to ones with a swimming pool contained by the garden, they are absolutely luxurious. The bed is massive, the bathroom have a huge tub and a great shower. They leave free biscuits and tea and loads of bottles of marine for you and little choccies each hours of darkness by your bed. The mini bars are also in good health stocked. There is the choice of 3-4 places to eat too, but you can also munch through along Railey beach at the other hotel. We flew beside Thai airlines and Kuoni and as it was classed as a luxury holiday we be provided with private transfers. The flight via Thai be superb. Changing at Bangkok airport was a bit of a nightmare to bring the plane to Krabi so do be aware of that. However once you arrive you'll be in real heaven. The food is wonderful! We go last April and the weather be amazing. We hired a speedboat for the day beside a driver and guide and they took us out to a little island and we have a picnic on a deserted beach! The hotel overseer even came and introduced himself to us on our 2nd year saying 'you must hold just arrived'. Everything have a real personal touch to it. Also within were a troop of monkeys that come to visit every year and we were amazed to see them swimming within our pool!! We weren't frightened by them, but it was incredible to see them so close! Also the snorkelling is out of this world too.
I could run on forever about this place!
Book through Kuoni - we truly found them cheaper than Thompson and they were offering free night and upgrades.
ps the scenery is worth the money alone! It truly is spectacular!
I love Sandals resorts for romantic getaway. Adults only, mostly honeymooners dance there. They enjoy luxury resorts in Jamaica, St Lucia, Antiuga, Cuba, and the Bahamas. All the resorts are 5 stars and the shelter and meals are exceptional. Most of them give spa services for extra pampering. You can even go and get butler service in some of their room category!

Aman Pulo Resort in the Philippines. It's distinctly 5 star at least, and individual about USD 700/night.
I would recommend Hong Kong.

Been in that with my boyfriend surrounded by Dec'06 for Christmas and have the most romantic and excellent trip (utimately, it is the person you are beside who complete the trip : ) ).

We stayed in Shangri-La, Kowloon, and to enjoy a paranomic view, opt for the Horizon Club Level Room on the 20th Floor.

We go to Hong Kong on Singapore Airlines new business class cottage (300er) and the service is superb and customised.

Shangri-La has a counter contained by HK International Airport and we have arranged for a limo to transport us to the Hotel. The staff is helpful within helping us transporting our luggages to the car.

In the coup¨¦, the driver is knowledgement and friendly and before long, we arrived at the Hotel Entrance beside staff ready to relief us carrying our luggages and that means, we do not own to lift a finger to the encyclopaedia jobs.

The Hotel staff escorted us to the 20th floor direct for a more personalised check-in. The own a business centre and concierge on the 20th floor and this stratum is like a mini hotel by itself according to the staff cos you could do check-in, check-out surrounded by this level and near will be staff around the clock (24 hrs) to attend to our needs.

Upon arrival, you are welcome with a pot of traditional chinese tea. We are given a soft toy and chocolate on X'mas Eve and a bottle of champagne complimentary.

21th floor is the place for night light cocktail in the evening, and widen till around 11pm. 20th floor is 24 hrs and there is a lounge for drinks and cookies next to reading material and tv, adjectives complimentary.

Buffet breakfast is also complimentary on the 21th floor every day (throughout your stay) till 10.30am. The staff is attentive and know your preferences after the 1st call on.

Did I mention that both 20th and 21th floor lounges face the dazzling victoria harbour : ) ?

The room is spacious and really worth the expense.

Room service is fantastic cos they verbs the room on a daily argument and leave a bookmark next to poem on it by the bedside or on the quilt after each housekeeping.

Fresh fruit and rag complimentary daily.

The service is impeccable and we would absolutely return to this hotel.

Too much to really put down in writting.

Do tolerate me know if you have choosen Hong Kong and if you soak up the trip as much as my boyfriend and I did : )
